Your wedding day is a unique moment in time where you express your love for each other with the most important people in your life, your family and friends. This day is significant to you both and gives you the opportunity to have a personal Ceremony that will live in your memories forever. You may have some cultural components that you would like to include or maybe something symbolic such as the lighting of a Unity Candle which signifies your two families blending together. I will present your Ceremony with the utmost sensitivity to the significance of the occasion. Where appropriate I will use a P.A. system so that everyone can hear all the words being said and the music you have chosen, during the Ceremony. Many couples who are committed to each other but don’t want to marry, prefer this option which has the same intent, to share your life together. A Commitment Ceremony signifies your love for each other and your desire to share your life together in partnership. It represents your devotion to each other as lifetime partners and can play an integral role in cementing your relationship. I will tailor the Ceremony to your needs and supply you with many choices of readings and verses that you may like to include. Some of these could be to include a ‘promise’ or ‘vow’ to each other as well as exchanging rings. It is important that the Ceremony reflects your personalities and wishes. The Ceremony can take place in the setting of your choice with family and friends and you will be presented with a Certificate to mark the occasion. A renewal of your Marriage Vows is a wonderful way to celebrate a milestone anniversary, such as a 10th or 20th anniversary etc. It is a declaration to each other affirming the love and support that you have both experienced together. Some couples like to repeat the vows they said on their wedding day and others like to completely re-write their vows, including their feelings within the relationship as it is now, in the present day. Special readings within the Ceremony from family or friends can be included and this adds a lovely personal touch. You will also be presented with a certificate to mark the occasion.
